Berlin, September 2026 – Merete GmbH is continuing the international expansion of the BioBall® System with Germany and Europe as a strong foundation and a growing presence across Latin America, Merete is now turning its focus to the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. As part of this next phase of international growth, Merete is looking for strong local distribution partners across APAC who share our passion for orthopedics and recognize the potential of the BioBall® System in hip revision surgery.
Expanding the international BioBall® network
For more than 30 years, the BioBall® System has provided surgeons with additional intraoperative flexibility in hip revision surgery. Its modular concept enables adjustments to leg length, offset and joint stability while offering the possibility of preserving a well-fixed femoral stem. Building on its established international network, Merete aims to make the BioBall® System available to even more surgeons and patients worldwide. The next focus is APAC – including important orthopedic markets across East and Southeast Asia, India, Australia and New Zealand.
Merete is therefore seeking experienced local partners with strong expertise in orthopedics and medical device distribution who are interested in developing the BioBall® business in their respective markets.
