On 2-3 March 2018, the Association for Paediatric Orthopaedics held its 32nd annual conference at the Dresden International Conference Centre in scientific cooperation with the 37th annual conference of the DGU’s Paediatric Traumatology section.
Numerous participants visited the trade fair booth to learn about handling implantation and explantation of FlexTack™ and RigidTack™ epiphysiodesis implants. The lunch symposium “Epiphysiodesis Implants – Applications, Tips and Tricks” was also held on Friday under the scientific direction of Prof Robert W. Roedl (University Hospital Munster). Ms Anja Helmers (Berlin-Spandau Forest Hospital) gave a presentation entitled “FlexTack – The Epiphysiodesis Implant for Growth Steering”, and Mr Björn Vogt (University Hospital Munster) spoke on “RigidTack™ – The Epiphysiodesis Implant for Rectifying Leg Length Differences”.
