Self-tapping, cannulated compression screw with partial and head thread
The Merete® Cannulated HCS (Headless Compression Screw) is a cannulated, self-drilling, self-tapping compression screw with partial thread and an additional head thread. Compression is established through unequal thread pitches between the screw head and shaft thread. The screw is used to secure intra- and extra-articular fractures. It can also be used to treat non-unions of small bones and bone fragments in the midfoot and hindfoot area (incl. calcaneus, talus, metatarsus).

Indications
Screws Ø 3.0 mm, Ø 4.3 mm
– Hallux Valgus
– Hallux Rigidus
– Arthrosis of the metatarsophalangeal joint (MTP joint)
Screws Ø 6.5 mm
– Fixation of intra-articulary and extra-articulary fractures and non-unions of small bones and bone fragments (incl. calcaneus, talus, metatarsus) in the mid- and hindfoot region
