Developed in cooperation with Dr. med. Diedrich W. Haesen, Fleetinsel Clinic Hamburg, the MetaFix™ I is suitable for medial restoration of mild to severe misalignments of the first ray. The fixed-angle design allows stable correction in the post-operative phase, which can allow patients to resume putting weight on the foot quickly. This is also associated with earlier initiation of functional therapy, which can yield an improved range of motion.
