Developed in collaboration with Dr. med. Jürgen Walpert at Fleetinsel Clinic Hamburg, the MetaStep™ Calcaneus plate is used, among other things, to correct acquired flat foot in adults. The various step heights (0 mm – 12 mm) allows physicians to adjust the degree of correction depending on the severity of the misalignment. In order to ensure sufficient stability of the calcaneus correction, the MetaStep™ Calcaneus Plate is screwed into place using five fixed-angle MetaFix™ LS Screws, Ø 3.8 mm.
