MetaTak™ staples

Titanium or steel staples for Akin osteotomies

MetaTak™ Staples are used to correct misalignments in the forefoot area of a hallux valgus interphalangeus using an Akin osteotomy. The 10 mm-long staples and are available in two widths and two diameters, made of either stainless steel or titanium. The system also features a corresponding sterilisation container with seating instruments.

  • two diameters: Ø 1.0 mm and Ø 1.2 mm
  • Material:
    – Titanium = TiAl6V4 ELI (DIN EN ISO 5832-3)
    – Steel = X2CrNiMo18-15-3 (DIN EN ISO 5832-1)
