VancoGenx® Bone Cement

Manual mixing

VancoGenx® by Tecres is a medium-viscosity, antibiotic-enriched bone cement combining all the properties of Cemex® bone cements with the synergistic antibiotic combination of Gentamicin and Vancomycin in the treatment of difficult infections. It is a perfect addition to treatment when anchoring revision prostheses or interim prosthetics containing antibiotics using the two-stage revision method. The cement is mixed either manually with a bowl and spatula or in a mixing system.

  • Effective against 90% of all pathogens, incl. multi-resistant strains

Indications

  • Securing endoprostheses into bone, especially in cases involving Gentamicin- or Vancomycin-sensitive infections or risks thereof
