Cemex® Genta FAST

with Gentamicin for manual mixing

Tecres’ quick-setting, antibiotic-enriched Cemex® Genta FAST bone cement is suitable for use at low operating temperatures. It can be used in primary and revision endoprosthetics, e.g. for cementing acetabular cups in hip TEPs or tibia plateaus in knee TEPs. The Gentamicin-enriched cement is mixed manually in a bowl with a spatula. This cement is also available in the Cemex system.

Indications

  • Securing endoprostheses into bone, especially in cases involving Gentamicin-sensitive infections or risks thereof
